WHY ROF?
I used to love High FPS setups.
However, I noticed that it's getting harder and harder to find gamesites (in the city) that allow High FPS guns.
What we normally see are CQB or Speedball gamesites having Maximum FPS limits of 400 to 450 FPS.
With this in mind... the only "advantage" that I can have would be to max-out my ROF since there's no rule against High-ROF... at least not yet.
But what is the true advantage of having high-ROF?
simple... QUANTITY.
The more shots.. the more chances of hitting the target.
CQB and Speedball requires quick reflexes.. no time to aim.
High ROF provides the opportunity to quickly hit multiple targets in the shortest possible time.

People often buy Lipolies with high C-ratings (output) and high-speed motors paired with stock gears... this is the typical setup when it came to Hi-ROF.
my setup before the SHS gears:
* SP130 (settled)
* JG Red motor
* Kong Power or Max Power Lipo
* stock gears
results from my setup BEFORE THE SHS GEARS were installed
Not bad eh? I thought this was an awesome setup and that I am satisfied with it...
but....
my curiosity for ROF soon became an obsession,
after reading a bunch of FAS posts, sending PMs to ROF fanatics...
I surprised myself when I pm'ed DRAXX and RESERVED SHS gears!
it's like an automatic reflex action! I just had to upgrade or be haunted by the thought of having "regular high-ROF" for the rest of my life.
anyway, Draxx sent it through LBC 24 hour delivery service.

Let's now look at the different gears
SPUR GEAR - This one is about as thick as the CA STU spur gear
